As part of the application process there are a few questions we require you to answer. All questions asked are relevant to the role as well as our legal obligations. Before continuing with your application, we ask that you read and consent to the following.

Our organisation is committed to providing a safe and inclusive working environment. As part of this commitment, we must ensure that employees meet the inherent requirements of their role and can perform their role safely.

Therefore, you are required to disclose all pre-existing injuries and diseases suffered by you of which you are aware and which could reasonably be expected could be affected by the nature of the position you are applying for.

We advise that, if you are a successful applicant and you fail to disclose or make a false or misleading disclosure about any such pre-existing injury or disease, then section 41(2) of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 will apply and you will not be entitled to workers’ compensation under that Act for any recurrence, aggravation, acceleration, exacerbation or deterioration of that injury or disease.

Further, as a condition of employment, successful applicants are required to:

  • undergo a pre-employment medical check to assess your fitness for work, if requested;
  • undergo a National Police Check; and
  • provide evidence that they have a right to work in Australia.
